Anastasia, I disagree with you when you say declaring war would be a mistake. Just because some people think we are the underdogs, it does not mean that we couldn’t succeed. As a Warhawk, I must say that you are wrong. We need to have a war against Great Britain to prove that we can survive without them. We gained independence from the British for a reason. If we do not engage in war, we will eventually be under there ruling again. We, Americans, can’t let the British take back what is rightfully ours. The British is taking our ships, as well as our seamen. By going into war, yes, we will lose some of our brave soldiers, but there will be many advantages.
