One resident believes that there should be a dog park. Their first reason on why there should be a dark part is because apartment building typically have very little private yard space. Another reason is because it is againts city ordinance for dogs the be off leash in public areas. Should Pit Bulls Be Banned? Pit bulls may be the most widely misunderstood breed of dog. Their reputation is one of brutality and ferocity, and assumptions are made for the entire breed based on the poor, misrepresented actions of a few canines. Allowing for a minority of pit bulls to speak for the entire breed is a concept in which Americans are well versed, often tolkenizing one on the behalf of many. Because of this tendency to allow for one to speak for an entire group or population, it is even more important that humans stop to address any bias that exists within them without a broader knowledge of an issue.…

Dog fights, atomic bombs, and Pearl Harbor are the common thoughts that resonate when one hears the words: World War II. The idea that airplanes were the most decisive part of America’s drive against Japan stems from a single event, the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan. This event did indeed have a great impact on the world, as it made the Japanese surrender; however, one must consider that this was only a piece of the entire span of World War II. What allowed the United States Naval Aviation community the opportunity to fly over the Japanese mainland was the successes of the submarine, surface, and land communities in the United States Navy and Marine Corps. Specifically, the United States Submarine Community contributed to war by…

In the argument about dog parks for residents with pet dogs, I totally agree that they should be provided with a park for their animals. I agree because, i dont think a simple walk around the neighborhood is not to much exercise on a daily. Exercise is important to dogs' mental and physical health. Also another reason would be because according to (ASPCA) "dogs that dont get exercise can act out at home by barking or destroying things at home. Socializing is important too.…

Dogs should be able to go down to the beach because there is a law against dogs at the beach in some areas. Dogs are wonderful pets that, in my opinion, should be able to go down to the beach. If the owners of the dog are living in a certain area that dogs are prohibited on the beach, then they would not like the area and they would feel bad for the dogs. There is one really good reason dogs should be allowed on the beach.…

I personally feel like dog parks should be built in cities, for the simple fact that dogs need space to do whatever it is they wanna do. It is by ASPCA guidelines that dogs get plenty of excercise daily for their mental and physical health. Dogs wanna play and run around and have fun, but not all the time is that avialable for them to do if they have to worry about neighbors not wanting the dog to run through the grass or use the bathroom in their yard. Having a dog park would eliminate all those burdens away. A dog park will allow the animals to play not only with owner but other dogs as well.…

For the sake of both dogs and people, the city of Muscatine, Iowa is considering the possibility of building a dog park.…

The dog lost in a dogfight, his owner lost $25,000, so he beat his dog and left him in the street to die. Dogfighting is a huge problem, and needs to be considered animal cruelty.
