Titanium is a lustrous transition metal. William Gregor was a man who was interested in minerals. He recognized the presence of a new element. The boiling point for this element is 5,948 fahrenheit and the melting point is 3,034 fahrenheit.
The titanium chemical properties is more reactive at high temperatures. It can actually catch fire when heated in the presence of oxygen.
