The proper age for voting is very important to make sure that people of the state are mature enough to choose wisely their leaders. If the age is too high this also is not fair so as to deprive them of their basic right. So, this is a very critical issue and many discussions are in place so that the proper age for the voting process is defined. On the other hand, voting is a serious matter and it affects the whole nation of a country. When the Vietnam War initiated then the slogan was popular that if one is old enough to vote then he should be old enough to vote. That might be right to some extent but cannot be applied as a whole.
