I need to take charge of my life and do what I know I am capable of. I need to create a voice for myself and in order to do that, I need to act and not ask. I believe this mantra will help me become a better student as I would become more focused on what I want and will never take no for an answer. I will show people through my actions that I can be an essential member of any group I want to join. Another mantra that has also impacted me is “Walk with a purpose”. This mantra had taught me to act with confidence, don’t let others see that you are scared and nervous; make them see that you believe in yourself and where you are going in order for them to believe in yourself. This mantra helped Braun get out of a life-threatening situation and it had recently helped me, believe it or not, in a work interview. This was my first interview and I was really nervous and stressed.
