The profession I have chosen is a dancer/choreographer. Ever since I was a little girl I always wanted to be a famous dancer and own my own dance school. As I grew up I started dancing in dance schools near my house. I began to love it more and more, until I got to college and realized that I should have researched the dancer profession a little more. I have found out that there is so much more to being a good dancer. There are certain components that are needed to be a dancer. For example, there are the educational background, skills, and knowledge, knowing the type of income and benefits that come with the profession when pursuing as a life choice. One must also know what activities are done or used, as well as, what is the best environment

The knowledge that one must have are of the different types of dance that exists. It would be just like a person who wants to become an actor or actress. Before they can be on film some actors start out with learning the ropes with the use of Theatre. A dancer learns somewhat the same way. Knowing about the different genres of dance, you can then start learning and building up your skills within each form or genre of dance that you choose to learn and pursue in life. If you do pursue your life as a dancer of choreographer, having the educational background, skills, and knowledge are all great things to have.
