On an allegorical level, “The Prodigal Son” could be implying toward parents that even though your child/children act reckless or disobey, the parents should still be forgiving, understanding, and most of all, loving. “The Prodigal Son” in a biblical sense could be signifying that although humans continue to make mistakes and then ask for forgiveness from God, this shows that God feels the same way the father does; and God will continue to forgive us. God is loving, caring, and understanding toward his creation and even though we repetitively sin, he will continue to forgive us because we are his children. Even right now in this world, he can’t help us directly by taking these diseases away, but he is there for us like a parent and right now,
