I think my writing process is procedural.
Before writing, I will search online to view some materials related to my topic first. This can help me to expand my ideas. If I do not have any idea, I will communicate with others, such as friends, teachers and parents. Usually they will give me good suggestions.
And then I start writing by making a TODO list. On the list, there will be the outline of my article and some questions I need to answer. I will also list some details I need to mention in my article. During writing, if I come up with some ideas, I will add them to the list. If the article is a long paper, I will schedule it and add each due date to my schedule. The reason I prefer to make TODO lists and scheduling is because I use org-mode

Sometimes you are assigned to read articles for homework and they actually turn out to be helpful for you. In regards to my writing process, there have been some central strategies that I have developed over time and some strategies that I have had for as long as I can remember. For example, one skill that I have developed from high school has been to annotate, mark up, and take notes throughout my readings. I found that taking notes really helps me, not only to remember what I read but to go back and be able to point out something in my reading easily. In addition, it helped me understand the readings better.…

In the beginning, I looked at the different ways of preparing for a paper and one stuck out to me. I would write an outline of what I wanted to write about and then I would make sub-headings under each bulletin describing what each topic would talk about. I used this process more with my research papers than with the narrative essays because I could see what facts I needed to look up and which ones I already knew. For the non-research essays, I wrote the first sentence to every paragraph first. After that I would write an outline of what I wanted to talk about in each paragraph.…

After reviewing my ideas and deciding exactly what the best approach would be to address the given prompt, I write a rough draft, then I start typing my final copy. As I am typing my final draft I revise sentences, correct spelling and grammar, and occasionally add or take away a sentence. Once my essay is completely written, I use the spelling and grammar check and fix mistakes that it may find. I then print my essay out and let a couple people read it and fix any mistakes they find.
