INTRODUCTION

As parts of assessment 4 .I have to perform individual critical review .The two main aspects of review are

Team evaluation
Project Evaluation
Self-Evaluation

There were 5 members in our group for these project- Manpreet, nichola, Catherine and parmeet including me (amit). As a group we have done our case study on Banana NZ about how the management is working, what was the problem with team leader and how it can be solved using the relevant theories and discussing how it can be improved. Though there were many major issues for which the company’s sales were declining for that proper planning, control, and execution is needed so all of the team member gave their opinion and different ideas to improve the problem that banana

Motivation and project monitoring:
To be a successful entrepreneur two things are much important one is to motivate your team members, to encourage them, to make feel them they are the right person for these roles though they don’t have any knowledge about their task and second to monitor their work by seeing they are on a right track or not.
So during the project I came across of various parameter such as dedication, contribution, team spirit which is all required in real world business, for me if I put some more efforts to inculcate these values surely I can lead any business.

THEORY Behavioural theories – what does good leader do
Behavioural theories means how does a leader should behave, how a leader motivates and encourages its team, with a good leader how efficiently and effectively team works toward its goal.

The team behaviour was not up to the mark so it was more devastating who are new to these subject. It could have improved if there was motivation and leadership skills.

Group meetings

Proper scheduling the time for meetings and to discuss seriously whether the member is available on that respective time or not.
More group meetings could have good impact and understandings related to project
No personally calling because some might even don’t know about meetings a text is more than sufficient
The meeting should not be so far that the member staying far or may be don’t have sufficient credit in the card have to come by walking, but at least give chance to explain his/her point of view

Effective working relationship

The sharing of ideas had to be more which would have more impact in our project
In my group there was the partiality in discussion of project such as not involving a team member if he/she is not having much idea about

    I feel as if the group project could have been done a lot better I felt as there was more of a focus on getting to know one another rather than focusing on the assessment. Currently I am not as confident on working with individuals that I don’t know so well as I was when we first started as I realized not everyone in the group had the same approach towards the task as I did especially in terms of prioritization despite this I believe I am more confident in showing leadership as Staci and Emily had other commitments I attempted to accommodate for this by contacting them and working out times when they were both free I believe this was a positive thing as normally in group assessments I have a tendency to rely on other people to make decisions like this and it was a positive experience delegating rather than receiving tasks. Overall working with Staci and Emily was fine as I have a more passive personality in group assignments it was a good learning experience for me a study has also shown that working as group positively influences and facilitates an exchange of knowledge(Shaw, Mitchell and Del Fabbro, 2015) this definitely occurred during our group work when it came to elaborating on social determinants I was able to help both Staci and Emily better understand them while Staci assisted me in learning about the stream factors overall I believe we compensated very well for each other’s gaps of knowledge .
