Stem cell research is an area of much controversy in the 21st century. It has been called the devil’s work by committing murder. Others have stated that stem cells are a miracle because of its endless possibilities. Stem cells are cells that are undecided and have the potential to become any type of cell. This could range from becoming a heart, brain or even a foot. This concept can be very important for future generations. Diseased organs can be renewed or replaced, a paraplegic person could walk after years of being wheelchair bound, genetic mutations could be eradicated for our children and grandchildren.
