America has always been known as the country of red necks and gun shooting, roadkill eating people. There was a total of 160 mass shootings from 2010 to 2013 alone (“Should More Gun”). With the widely spreading problems we are turning to gun control laws as the method for solving this crimes and disasters. Like the Simeon High School . Certain individuals shouldn’t be able to have the right to own firearms under certain crimes and labels. Some people believe that it could have been stopped if we were not able to arm to arm guns like assault rifles and explosives of military grade. Firearms without a form of licensing which is a great idea. Now some people believe that this was all done on purpose as a conspiracy to further the gun law agenda and possibility scare the public into getting what the government probably wanted. But none the less guns can be a very dangerous weapon and need to be handled correctly and shouldn’t fall into the hands of mentally ill patients and felons.
When it comes to mental illness we should do a background check and see the problems that they have and see if they have any violent side effects. Those are the groups that we need to limit their gun use along with felons. To stop the problem with guns falling into the wrong hands of felons, all we can do is put stricter gun laws into place to prevent them from buying guns. But we can’t stop them from getting guns off of the black market due to the fact that there will always be a black…
