How To Work In A Group Essay

There is always a project that can be stressful or cause problems but add in other people then the troubles will start. Group projects can be a disaster in some cases, but some people really enjoy then and other seem to dread them. This is because there are people who can get away doing nothing, and then the most of the work gets pushed onto one or two group members. One group experience that I encounter that started off terrible and ended much better was my senior year in physics. Myself and four other classmates where put into a groups, non of us were friends, three of got along pretty well, and the forth one didn’t really vibe with the rest of us. We had many labs where we had to build things and do the math and at first we all wanted it to be our way so nothing was getting done. It was a true definition of a power struggle. By doing this and stepping back I will be still attentive in the group but by surrendering my uptightness. By doing this more ideas will be able to flow and the environment will feel more relaxed. The second goal I will put in to place with be: putting more trust into my group members work and not give critiques but to give positive feed back. By giving positive feed back my group will feel more confident in their work helping everyone respecting their work. To accomplish this, I will just remind myself that not everyone is the same. The third goal will be; to become more organized by getting a folder or something along those lines that is only used for the purpose of the project. I can accomplish this goal by always keeping the folder in my bag for when we meet up or when we do work so that way it Is always present when I need to keep everything
