Some royal people abuse their power to make everything right. The Prince is responsible for Shakespeare's tragedy of Romeo and Juliet. First off, he should have restored order between the families. Second, Romeo had been banished, for avenging the Princes relative. Third, the tragic love of Romeo and Juliet which led them to their deaths. So that is how the Prince is responsible for Romeo and Juliet’s death, because he was careless, and unfair. His lack of leadership has lead to a fallen, mournful kingdom. He should have talked to the families before Romeo and Juliet fell in love. The Prince should have acted as a mediator to the families by having them meet to discuss their feud. They could have vented their conflict and feelings and come to an agreement and resolution that would bring peace to the kingdom. He could have prevented the bloodshed of these families and their households. If he had just taken the time then he could have united them all. The irony of weakness in royalty. He could’ve thought of something to even the odds of the death of Tybalt and Mercutio, Romeo avenged his friend, Tybalt just killed Mercutio, why Prince why? Maybe his guards should’ve been on the lookout so when it took place to avoid the disaster and judge fairly on who gets to be banished, I mean c’mon Romeo avenged the Princes relative. Maybe the Capulets have a better relationship with the Prince, but still they should’ve been punished. Maybe the prince didn’t care about the feud between the Capulets and the Montagues. What’s your plan just leave two families who hate each other so much in one castle. What do you expect them to do in the castle, forgive each other right off the bat, no there’s gonna be blood, blood I tell you
