I would also have to agree with his one this point. There are also polls to support this opinion. “A CNN/ORC poll of debate watchers released after the event found 62% felt Clinton won compared to 27% for Trump.”. In the beginning of the debate Trump was strong with his arguments. He made good points about the economy and jobs. But further in the debate Trump seemed to make a few false claims. Along with the fact that further into the debate Trump seemed to lose his temperament, even though he claims the opposite. Collinson stated, “he made inaccurate statements on everything from laws regarding policing, his support for the Iraq War and his contention that Clinton was behind the so-called birther conspiracy.” After the debate Trump claimed he was happy with the outcome of the debate. The other editorials I have read, that gave an opinion of a winner, also said that Hillary Clinton “won” the debate. I would have to say I agree with these editorials. I think Hillary Clinton stayed calm and composed. She stated some good points while Trump yelled out “Wrong!” while Clinton was speaking. Trump started out strong and composed but I think he lost his temperament throughout the night. He accused Clinton of not having a good temperament but from the debate that I watched I witnessed the opposite. As the other editorials have stated, along with Tory Newmyer, Trump came out strong in the beginning, but it soon went downhill from there. Newmyer stated that, “Clinton moved from the start to stick Trump in his softest spot: his business dealing.” Trump is all about his businesses and investments. Along with all the other editorials I have read Newmyer also brought up the point that Trump might be avoiding releasing his tax returns because he is hiding something. Clinton said, “Maybe he doesn’t want the American people, all of you watching tonight, to know that he’s paid nothing in federal taxes.” All of America heard Trump confirm this allegation. Trump blurted out, “That makes me smart.” From here the debate was downhill for Mr. Trump. I also agree that there might be something Trump is hiding when he comes to his taxes. Why will
