The worst president the United States ever had to been William Jefferson Clinton, commonly known as Bill Clinton, the 42nd president from 1993-2001. He was born in 1946 in Hope, Arkansas, and is one of the few one percent that made it from rags to riches. He graduated from Georgetown University, attended Oxford University, and earned a law degree from Yale University (Hamilton, 2003). His profession as a lawyer led to his political career. In 1974, Clinton became a Democratic leader in the U.S. House of Representatives, but he was not very successful. In 1976, he was elected as Arkansas’s attorney general and later won the Arkansas governorship, making him the youngest governor at that time (Hamilton, 2003). He was known as a moderate Democrat, and from 1990 to 1991 he headed the centrist Democratic Leadership Council. The next year, he won the presidential nomination and won the presidency in 1992. He was the worst president because he had some personal scandals while in office, extra marital affairs, Whitewater, and was also blamed for the loss of Americans jobs with his political prestige to NAFTA.
The first reason as worst President is the scandals of his extra marital affairs that came out to light. Clinton impressed people with the idea of a family man.
