As a Party Leader, the President is supposed to positively represent all of the interests of his party, raise money, help party members get elected, and achieve various party priorities. It is very easy to take advantage of some of your powers, in order to gain attention and popularity. For example, the President has almost unlimited access to media. This allows he/she to communicate with the world whenever they wish, whether it’s through T.V. programs, magazine articles, or the radio. An executive power is an international agreement that’s not a formal treaty and is made by the executive branch of the U.S. government, without ratification from the Senate. This is an easy way for the President to make an agreement, very similar to a formal treaty, but the main difference is that a formal treaty needs ratification from the Senate. The President shouldn’t be allowed to do this, because it creates a loophole that allows them to ultimately reach the same goal, but not to get the Senate
