Think of the all the qualification to be president of the United State of America. To be the president of United State of America one will have to have these qualifications. Must be a natural born citizen, thirty-five years of age, and a resident within the United States for fourteen years. There is nowhere in the Constitution that states one cannot have a disadvantage or disability in order to run for president. Anyone can run for president as long as he or she meet the requirements. “The President and the Wheelchair” by Christopher Clausen is an essay about the longest-serving president in American history, Franklin D. People don’t see people with disabilities having the advantage or capability of doing a job of a president. Which is why now in modern society people would not vote for someone if they know that he or she has a disability.
