Making the ideal woman nothing but an ornament as Iago states in his talk about an ideal wife . All three women fall threw this rule though in many ways Bianca is the one who escapes this rule but is the ideal model of this rule. As Bianca is a whore and is an object in her line of work she knows because of her lower social class and upbringing she can act more like a human that either Desdemona and Emilia. Iago uses this for his desire as well as Desdemona and Emilia are merely objects in his plan for Othello.The women are merely objects to be used in order to further his own desires .Through this thinking, the fact that women, in both Elizabethan and Venetian society, are perceived as possessions, secondary to the lofty plans and desires of men. As Othello no longer believing Desdemona anymore cannot hear her innocent cries and pleads about her innocence. Thus bringing her underserved fate of an early death. As a married woman Desdemona follows most of the rules of an ideal wife but broke a few of them making her not the ideal wife at all. As she is getting into affairs that do not affect her house (foreign affairs) and seems in certain circumstances not to obey her husband fully. It can take in consideration that she talks to Cassio about his position without her husband 's consent in the matter something unheard of in the Elizabethan era as it comes to a foreign affair that has nothing to do with her. Showing when Iago and Othello see her with Cassio suspicious as she is not supposed to be with any other man without her husband 's consent as well. Desdemona also refuses to let go of the subject of Cassio even when Othello tells her to as now she is going against her husband. Making Othello now worry for their marriage as Desdemona is now going against her husband and is speaking about
