The most poignant irony seen in the play by the watches and reader is that Juliet fakes her death so her and Romeo can be together and Romeo thinks she is actually dead and kills himself; Juliet then finds out when she awakes from the fake death she see Romeo dead so she kills herself. The irony is that they both died because they couldn’t live without each other, a true testament to their love for each other. As the story progresses the author show us that the easiest thing a person can do if fall victim to the temptation of greed. Pahom was a simple man who desired nothing more than to get to a middle class; someone not to power but still respected. Unfortunately a humble man as such fell into the temptation of greed at first when a man comes to him and tells him that basically there is an offer for more land but you would have to leave everything behind. Pahom accepts and begins him streak of greed. Lastly he fall temptation to an offer anyone could confuse he was offered all the land he could walk the perfect gateway for greed. In the end pahom dies an awful death because of his greed he walked for so long and rushed back to his stale death. The author conveys the idea that the strongest enemy of a person is their self and greed is a main enemy because of how tempting it
