Tons of people are very strict and sometimes psychotic when it comes to religion. In Canada we have a choice of what religion we follow, but in numerous countries like North Korea or Iran you are forced to believe in a certain god similar to the people, or you can be stripped of your religious beliefs and told that there are no gods. There are plenty cases of people controlling their children or nations knowledge in a bad way, the one that is most prominent isn’t from the present it is from the past but it is still relevant today, it is the Residential Schools in Canada, which may have started way back, but the last residential school closed in 1996.
