My sentence for Steve would be community service, probation ,and home confinement. In the state of Ohio a third degree felony is punishable with a 1-5 year prison term and the maximum fine is $10,000. However, considering that Steve has no criminal record he would not get as harsh as a sentence if he did have a criminal record. I would give Steve more of a stern sentence because hazing seems to be a big issue on the campus. If complete leniency is given other people might continue to haze because they are not really getting punished.…

Mr. Patron has sufficient evidence of Paul cheating, but Paul claims he was not cheating. Paul also happens to be the son of Mr. Patron’s boyfriend which makes him worry because if he accuses Paul of cheating, the accusation may cause a strain in their relationship. Paul says he didn’t cheat, but Mr. Patron is worried that if he overlooks the incident this time, assuming he did actually cheat, Paul would try it again on the future tests which Mr. Patron would not be able to ignore. There are two general ethical dilemmas present in this case. One is for Mr. Patron to decide if he is going to enforce the school policy with Paul as he would with any other student or overlook the situation because he does not want to risk his romantic relationship…

Academic dishonesty is an awful conduct that can be infectious. Actually, the vast majority of us have been impacted or watched something that was scholastically unscrupulous but since one individual did it, we obliged it. A few people may have allowed their eyes to meander onto their neighbor's answers amid an exam, obtained or utilized somebody's homework or duplicated a paper from the web. When somebody has been impacted or watched scholastic contemptibility it is interesting how speedy and simple they wind up following the group. In The Tipping Point composed by Malcolm Gladwell he concurs with James Q. Wilson and George Kelling "that terrible conduct, if left unchecked spreads among individuals that once, maybe a couple or three individuals started duping the system, other individuals who may never generally have considered dodging the law would join".…

The moral issue in case study 5 was a challenging situation for me to begin with. My personal ethical decision choice turned out to be unethical or immoral compared to the text. I eventually had to change my way of thinking and view Ms. Greens dilemma the way the book would. The decision I believe is the most ethical when pertaining to Ms. Green's situation is, she should disregard Matthew's family financial situation because he was caught cheating and give him the B he deserved. Giving him a B means Matthew will not qualify for the scholarship because he needs an A and eventually he will not be able to attend college.…

America as a country faced a great period of transition in the 1920’s. After decades of staying away from foreign entanglements, World War I brought the United States back into the affairs of the rest of the World, and brought all of the people involved into unfamiliar surroundings. During the war, most of the young men were sent into Europe to fight for their country, while the women were sent into the workforce in order to replace all of the absent men. After the war, both the young men who had fought in the war, and the young women who were thrust into the workforce, returned to their original lives, having been exposed to new ideas on how to live life, and new morals. This led to the next generation living a lifestyle with widely contrasting…

I’ll be honest. I hate chores. I absolutely hate getting up in the mornings to walk the dog, clean the kitchen after breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and I especially hate washing the floors by hand. I’ll be even more honest; at times, I purposefully skirt my responsibilities citing schoolwork, work, or music homework as the reason to not be touched that day, when I’m actually lounging reading a nice book or simply watching YouTube videos. I know it’s bad, but, I guess that’s what being honest means.…
