The film takes place in London during the year 1888, much like the real crime the film focuses on the Whitechapel area of London. The murders were unlike any others and have gone down in history as the most notorious mysteries that were left unsolved for the murders of up to five prostitutes but it was rumored to have been up to nine victims. The film “From Hell” portrayed the untimely demise of the victims and their last moments just before their run in with death.
