When going to eat at a campus restaurant everyone expects for it to be very enjoyable and relaxing. Dining on campus is usually a positive experience, but sometimes it can be the complete opposite. Most campus restaurants try to make your experience very pleasant and enjoyable in hopes that they fulfilled your needs. The Delta Deli an on campus restaurant that gets its name from a residence hall gives a mediocre dining experience, because of its non engaging atmosphere, its poor service, food quality, and its high prices.
When going to eat a restaurant and seeing it dirty and unkempt is probably the ultimate turn off. The Delta Deli doesn’t open until 5pm during the weekdays, which gives the ample amount of time to make sure the deli is clean. They have plenty of time that other on campus restaurants on campus don’t have because they are open all day. Other on campus restaurants don’t’ have as much time to clean up a lot because they are busy throughout the day but the Delta Deli should use their off time to clean. While going into the Deli I noticed used napkins all over the floor from previous customers. I noticed that the counters were filthy and covered with dried condiments and sticky soda residue.

The deli is mostly known for serving burgers, wings, chicken tenders and fires. The deli has great food and a, not only do they grill food but they also sell smoothies, ice cream, and frozen dinners. The deli also sells candy, breakfast foods, and personal hygiene items. The deli is mostly known for its chicken wings and chicken tenders where they offer the option to have them dipped in buffalo sauce with any dipping sauce you would like with a side of fries. Another thing that is also popular are there burgers, with four different styles to have your burger cooked and over ten toppings to add to your burger.
