Introduction
Facebook is one of the most popular social networking platforms which allows individuals to like, share, tag and post pictures, statuses and life events. Websites such as Facebook (FB) has affected how we communicate as individuals from the likes of our friends, family members and even our romantic partners. Facebook does have an effect in our social lives but the main point is based on how it affects family relationships.

This form helps individuals’ share and exchange information to those who they’d like to contact or inform. Facebook helps us make friends in an extremely easy form whereby you send an individual a friends request and they’d decide if they would like to accept or decline your request and by the form of sending a friends request it does result to conversations occurring between individuals and followers. This notion provides us with the perspective that the youth of today are homo zappiens (Veen & Vrakking, 2006). The term homo zappiens refers to learners who learn in a considerably different way. Consequently, assumptions have been brought about that modern children, are also able to do everything effectively, efficiently and without a loss to the present task (Veen & Vrakking, 2006). The form of multi-tasking is a given assumption by society and how they observe or expect things around them, human beings are not really by nature, capable of multitasking, but can, at best, switch quickly from one activity to another (Kirschner, Sweller, & Clark, 2006; Sweller, Kirschner, & Clark, 2007). The concept of Facebook and how it affects our academic and private life has become a relevant notion, because scholars waste more time on Facebook other than studying, individuals are more concerned of who sent them a friends request other than planning to complete a given task, we as individuals has transformed into being social media animals in a sense that we use various socializing apps to reach to certain people, we post pictures on Facebook other than saving them in a gallery book. We have become so focused on what Facebook can do for me, other than when will I finish my task and reach my success, hence a degree. Facebooks popularity
