Portrayal of women in hip hop culture
Within music videos in the hip hop industry we see the portrayal of women as sexual objects rather than human beings. In class we watched just three music videos, Candy Shop by 50 Cent, My House by Flo Rida and Sweat by Snoop Dogg all of which had similar images of scantily dressed women who were dancing provocatively around the artist.
