Lately there has been a lot of media coverage about organizations behaving badly, and this news may be new to some but it is old news to individuals that are involved in the wrong doing or the individuals that are hurt by the organization’s bad behaviors. According to usatoday (2014) there are numerous organizations that can be placed on Santa’s naughty list, such as General Motor and banking giants Credit Suisse. Both of these organizations have been accused of poor judgements towards their public and has been ordered to pay back millions or billions in fines and other penalties (Board, 2014). Most organizations main focus is to appeal to their external stakeholder, which is their reputation, and in order to maintain a sensible reputation organizations must keep in mind three simple factors, such as their actions, their stakeholders, and any …show more content…
Therefore, this essay will discuss the poor behavior issues of one of the largest telephone companies in the United States, which is T-Mobile, by observing and understanding their bad behaviors, what was done to fix their bad organizational behavior, and what changes needs to be made in order to ensure that bad behaviors doesn’t take place …show more content…
However, for T-Mobile being honesty to their consumers was the least of their worries. T-Mobile has been accused of overbilling their consumers by hundreds of millions of dollars, and this practice is called cramming (Weisbaum, 2015). Cramming is a commonly used phone billing scam that usually goes unnoticed by consumers and is placed on consumer’s phone bills, and consumers may notice extra charges on their phone bill for things that were not asked for or approved by them.
