This thesis in regards to the validity of the statement through the major political, economic, social, religious and intellectual aspects of the years 1300-1500. The Feudal and the late Middle Age society were radical in there ways of living. Also, other outside elements affected those societies, not just the real or the ideal gap. See when the gap becomes wide it will eventually will lead to the society self destructing in a way. People dying all over the place due to the plague brought on by fleas. However generally a short stretch of time(1347-1351) the effects of the plague were catastrophic. People either died from the plague, or were fended off because of the invention of the longbow. As in many other situations, the Jews had life especially hard. They were persecuted and blamed for all of the tragedy taking place during that time. Along with this, they lived in horrible types of 'houses '. From all of this disruption, corruption, and general disarray, came peasant revolts. The feudalistic empire lost many people as it was, then even more people were lost by going on, and more than likely not returning from, crusades. It is hard to take over areas when you don 't have people to take it over with. The population being the one thing that can keep a society running, turned on their leaders and demanded change. No longer did they want to only survive. They wanted to live. They actually wanted to relax once in a while, more than just to get sleep from their insane work schedule providing for the lords who more than likely barely recognized their existence. Along with these revolts, and sort of 'crusades ' came assimilation of many people, meaning they have the same kind of principles and laws, yet they are interpreted differently throughout the different cultures, leading to more arguments as to who was right and so
