I knew since I was going home Friday I had no choice but to go see it that Thursday before I left for the weekend. Around noon Ashley and I went to get our tickets, I believe we sat in seats 101 and 102. I wanted to get dressed up for the play but since I had a long day I wore regular casual clothes. I went to go get Ashley from Young Hall so we could walk to Tucker Hall together. I told her to come out one door and she went out another. I thought we were going to be late because she gave me the run around trying to find her. A lot of people from the class also attended the play that same night. We stood around and socialized before they opened the doors for us to be seated. …show more content…

I was excited and anxious for the play to start because I saw another version of it and I knew that it was a great play. As we waited we flipped through the programs and read the bios of the actors and actresses. One of the best orientation leaders was playing a role, and coincidentally he is from my hometown Palm Beach, Florida. We were patiently waiting for the play to start and they soon turned off the lights. The play gained my attention until the intermission. Although Malik (classmate) texted me throughout the entire play carrying on about how cute he thought one of the actresses was I enjoyed

I decided against going to school the day of the performance because my nerves got the best of me. The next day I arrived to class and everyone gave me a round of applause when I walked into the room. The credit and acknowledgment from my peers made me feel good, for it let me know that they really liked it. Hearing how they were both moved and inspired by my play made me feel as though my writing had a purpose. I felt that maybe I should not be afraid of what others think because they just might like it.…

Furthermore, the stage setup was utilized well. With the stage in the middle, they had three sides of audience seats that surrounded the stage. The leader of Albuquerque, Richard Berry made a discourse that can help a considerable measure of the significant urban areas all around if considered. When I walked into a class on Monday, October 26th, the day that my creative genius class selected the topic our class’s theater, I knew for some reason that the topic selected would be depression. I don’t know how I knew this or why I knew this, but something tipped me off. Dr. Balbert was the teacher that day. He brought up a few ideas about what we could do for our theater and then allowed the class to offer up ideas. The idea of depression was mentioned and was quickly placed upon the whiteboard along with the rest of the ideas.…

I began the day in a dream-like state, hypnagogic to be precise, as my melancholy was embellished with a familiar face at an unfamiliar place. I pace through a cemetery filled with heartbreak accompanied by sorrow. Doing the very thing I can't ever rid myself of, I wondered about each stone head we pass. Hau, Lien, Yen; I lost my trail of thoughts between his peace. The Nguyens have passed and now they hold my thoughts while I catch a glimpse of the flickering sunlight filtering through the leaves as the sun rises.…
