The plainchant and organum music was very interesting to listen to because I could easily distinguish if the music was monophonic or polyphonic. Moreover, it was very pleasant, relaxing,and delightful to listen to. In the hymn “Pange Lingua” I heard at least two different rhythms in the song. The organum music was more favorable to listen to because it was polyphony, more similar to the music that I like. In comparison with a type of music that I listen to hip hop and pop music differs a lot with the liturgical music. Hip hop and pop music are more secular and constantly changes.
