Dear, Mom and Dad In history class we learn about the dangers of the plague. Millions of people in the 13 century died from the plague. Back then everyone feared to plague. People was trying to find way to prevent the plague before next spring. The reason the plague didn’t come out in winter is because the only thing that carried the plague was fleas and infected rats from ships that traded with china. The plague originally came from china. Churches promised cures but couldn’t fulfill their promises. People were mad at the churches. Plague doctors would try to cure the plague but was not really successful. A fun fact the reason why plague doctors wore those mask was to put pepper mint flowers sage to prevent them from breathing in the infection.
