The Pittsburgh Performing Arts Center offers classes that support cross-curriculum learning through the National Standards for Arts Education. Hands-on activity and a diverse curriculum are the main points of focus to enhance learning and imagination. Classes are offered on Thursdays and Fridays from 10am-12pm, and districts must sign up ahead of time if they wish to take part in the adventure. The Pittsburgh Performing Arts Center encompasses dance, theater, and world music, and all classes are proper for the specific academic level. Classes will focus on the history of dance, theater, and world music. Demonstrations and activities will enhance our program, and students will also have a chance to participate in the demonstrations. The summer camp is two weeks, running Monday through Friday from 9am-3pm. The camp features a variety of cultural endeavors through dancing, singing, instrumental playing, acting, and much more. At the end of the second week, groups of students will have a chance to perform one piece for the rest of the camp. The staff will accommodate to every class, and no student will leave with a feeling of dissatisfaction. Any student is welcome to register for the program; however a small tuition rate of $100 is due before the start of the camp. The cost covers material fees, teaching costs, and activity fees.
