My topic for the day is “four pillars of the church”. Let me explain this to you. Today, we are sitting in a building that has a foundation, walls, doors and windows, and a roof. Just imagine, the building is a rectangle. So, the construction workers lay the foundation first, and start to build four pillars at four corners. These pillars must be very strong to keep the roof on them. Therefore, they use strong iron bars and rods, and quality concrete mixture for the pillars. Engineers check them considering the weight of the roof and some other relevant facts, and approve for the next step. They make sure that all four pillars are at the same strength. If one is little weak, it affects to the entire building and the building would be collapsed. Therefore, it is very important that all four pillars individually and cooperatively are strong enough to sustain the whole building.
Now we are going to consider if this building is a church. At this point, I need to ask …show more content…
As I mentioned before, pillars of the four corners of a building are very important. They are the strength of the building, and the workers make sure that these pillars are strong enough to hold the entire building. If they found one is weak, they make it correct and re-build up to the expected standards. Again, I emphasise when I mention the word “church”, it means you personally, all of you collectively, and also the gathering. In this church, what are these four pillars?
