“What’s that for?” Quinn asked.
“I just recorded you making The Pill. I wanted it in case I forget what to do,” Faith smiled, shutting the camera closed.
“That’s okay, I guess,” Quinn spoke. “I’m just going to bring this pan to the refrigerator. We store the pills in there.” Quinn walked away.
Faith sat in the swivel chair and rewatched the video. She saw Quinn explaining everything and pretending to be a good teacher, when, really, he wasn’t. She laughed when Quinn told her to not to touch anything and let him do the work.
“Hey.” Quinn popped his head into the room. “I think I forgot to tell you that you only have to work whenever you want to. Just make sure that 147 pills are done by this time next year. Are you okay with that?”
