There are many different philosophies, opinions, and views of the teaching profession. Many people argue with each other which idea is better in the teaching world. With so many different types of views on this topic, combining all sorts of clever ideas helps many teachers all around the world brainstorm on how to help their students grow intellectually throughout their adolescent years and develop into the bright people who form the future world. Connecting with students on an emotional level is a great way to keep students engaged in the classroom. An example of this would be telling stories. Funny memoirs keep the class listening and laughing while learning more about their teacher as a person and not just someone who bosses them around. I know from personal experience that some of my most enjoyable classes were classes in which my teacher would share personal stories that made my class laugh. Doing this and relating the story to what is learned in class can help the students learn how to apply the lesson to their lives and better understand it. Behaving in a way that shows students that their teacher is a true leader that knows what he or she is doing is another important role of teachers because it shows that good behavior leads to a successful future. Maturity is greatly lacking in children of this day and age, and these children need mature leaders to teach them in the classroom. A view of motivation for the cognitive constructivism theory is that the learners set goals that motivate themselves to learn. A view of knowledge for the social constructivism theory is that knowledge is constructed through interactions. From personal experience, my Spanish III and IV teacher would have us repeat vocabulary words to help us learn them. She would point to a picture of what our vocabulary word was, and we would tell her in Spanish what that picture was. Not only that, but she would mix up the order in which we repeated them by switching up the order in which she pointed to the pictures. That method of teaching that my Spanish teacher used is a method of the behaviorism
