There is a racist remark as well, that blacks killed by police officers are more than likely white police officers. This is a false accusation as black and hispanic ethnic groups are more likely to shoot blacks than whites, this is according to the Justice department about the Philadelphia police department. This study was further conducted by the University of Pennsylvania Greg Ridgeway who majors in criminology and the final conclusion to the stats were that a black police officer were 3.3 times more likely to discharge a weapon at a crime scene.
