Moses was raised by the Egyptian queen but was born from a Hebrew mother. When Moses was born, there was a war between the Hebrew slaves and the Egyptians. The Pharaoh had made a rule to kill all the new-born from the Hebrews and that included Moses. Moses’ mother soon hid Moses into a basket and placed the basket on the River Nile for Moses to be taken and adopted by an Egyptian.
