While verses forty-seven and forty-eight focus on the permanence of the hue of Satpa(n)th and assimilation of the metaphoric complexion of Satpa(n)th as a lasting aspect of one’s identity, verses forty-nine and fifty focus on attire as another important facet of one’s personality. Pir Sadarddin describes this dissolution of the human self in the Divine as Sat-Chit-Ᾱna(n)d.

Therefore, in the context of this verse of the Saloko, sat (truth, reality), synonymous with the Arabic word Ḥaqīqa (truth, reality), refers to the realization of this knowledge of oneness of the ātmā and Brahm, the realization of the unity of rūḥ (spirit) and Nūr (Divine Light). As long as this spiritual union is not attained, says Pir Sadarddin in the verse below, the individual remains in bondage of the cycle of birth and death:

Despite having the same basic understanding of the world through Christianity and predominantly Calvinism, John Cotton and Jonathan Edwards both depict varied versions of what Luther regards as the spiritual and bodily natures that we, as Christians, exhibit. While John Cotton’s Christian Calling emphasizes our bodily nature as he focuses on the outward acts of faith such as expressing our faith in accordance to our obedience to the Lord’s will, Johnathan Edwards’ opposes this viewpoint in Religious Affections as he depicts a greater emphasis on our spiritual nature through thoroughly experiencing grace in our heart; Luther reconciles that our bodily nature expresses our spiritual nature. Cotton’s emphasizes that our bodily nature is a crucial…

In this paper, I will talk about the idea behind the Myth Sisyphus in Taylor 's argument that life is objectively meaningless. According to Taylor’s argument “life is objectively meaningless”, he says that life seems to be hard to interpret because the answer to define “what’s the meaning of life” is not clear to what sort of thing that is counted in life. For example, if you have a dream, you will have a goal, the goal is the meaningful activity in your life because if you have a goal you have a possibility. Then possibility will lead to reality. Focusing on Question One of Aquinas’ Questions on the Soul, explain what it means to Aquinas for the soul to be both form and entity. Present Aquinas’ argumentation for the position, and briefly indicate whether you find the arguments convincing or not, and your reasons. From the very fact that Aquinas begins his Questions on the Soul with the question of whether the soul is both a form and entity, we are perhaps already introduced to the significance of this position for the defence of his specific notion of the human soul. Despite this, such a position does not appear an easy one to defend. Taken in its broadest sense, if the soul thought to be an entity, and hence a substantial and complete being in its own right, how may it possibly…
