This is not your typical boyband, the ones that all dance the same and dress the same. No, these five boys have dominated the entire world with their angelic voices, handsome faces, and each having an amazing personality, this band is called One Direction. One Direction is the best boyband that has walked the planet. They were making history before they even released there first album. Having lots of involvement in charities and breaking records every time they release an album or single. An all rounded down to earth men living a dream they never expected and being able to do it next to four their best friends. Liam James Payne was born in Wolverhampton, England, on August 29, 1993 (“Liam Payne Biography”). Payne has two older sisters. While in school he was a runner and a singer. Payne was qualified to try out of the Olympics but decided to try out for The X-Factor. In 2008, Liam was on The X-Factor he made it to he top 24 finalist until Simon Cowell told him that he was just too young. Liam went back and did a stunning cover of “Cry Me a River” by Michael Bubblé (“Liam Payne Biography”). He got a standing ovation by the judges and was sent to the next round. There was only one more name that could be called, but it was not either of the five boys. They were all gutted. Right when everyone was about to leave Simon Cowell called five more boys names; Niall, Louis, Harry, Zayn, and Liam (1D: One Direction). Harry thought it was just to make good TV (1D: One Direction). Simon made a decision, in about 10 minutes, to put these five boys into a band (1D: One Direction). The only thing the five boys could think of was what they were all going to wear. They didn 't even have a name yet or even know if they could sing together. In order to get to know each other they all went to Harry’s dads bungalow where they were suppose to be rehearsing but they mostly played soccer and messed around (One Direction. 1D). After just one performance there was about 200 fans outside (1D: One Direction). It came down to the three finalist but Rebecca Ferguson beat the boys.
