Ahh. . . What I would give to be back in Islamorada, Florida. Islamorada is one of the many sections of the Florida Keys. I would like to call this little piece of Earth paradise. Although I have only visited Islamorada once, it is my all-time favorite. I cannot imagine going anywhere else and falling in love like I did in the Keys. There is absolutely no place better than Islamorada, Florida.
Waking up to a truly indescribable view is my idea of the perfect spot. No, mornings typically are not my favorite times. However, I woke up every single day at sunrise to watch the sky slowly begin to light up. The orange color of the sun rising reflecting on the water is sure to make for a pleasant feeling. The transcendence of the water was astonishing. Fish were easily spotted, as well as the shark I was able to swim with while snorkeling. I surely used the clear waters as an advantage while deep sea fishing. Some may call it cheating, but I call it a good time! Even while driving somewhere, all that is visible is water and palm trees. This is a perfect example as to why I call this place paradise. Along with scenic views, the weather is amazing. The temperature may be high, but it beats this Alabama heat. I just so happened to be in Islamorada during lobster season. We got to go out on the boat, and scout for our own lobster. I also had the privilege of catching a few yellow-tail snappers. The very last night of vacation, we decided to cook everything we caught; from fresh baked lobster smothered in garlic butter to battered filleted yellow-tail, I can honestly say it was the best meal I have ever eaten. The lobster tasted so sweet I could have eaten it as dessert. There is no taste like yellow-tail snapper; one bite and I was doomed to add more to my
