William Butler Yeats once said, “Education is not the filling of the pail, but the lighting of a fire.” This quote is relevant to school and the education system because a balanced year-round schedule will ignite the fire for students to learn. The traditional school schedule should be replaced with a year-round schedule that has periodical breaks. With a balanced schedule, students will have better retention of material without having a long summer vacation. Students will also not fall behind and fail classes.…

The schools have a purpose to teach the students and prepare them for the upcoming future. The major focus in school is math, science, English, and history. There seems to be a lack on the teaching of values and ethics, the teaching of how life is really like outside of the 4 walled classroom. There is not a class on how to make better life decisions, and how to succeed. Without knowing the difference between right and wrong one is not able to navigate and be successful on the mere education that is provided by the school system.…

The good thing about this schools that I like is will motivate the students and tell them what exactly what to do also the teacher would help and see what every student is doing but the only thing is that the teacher do not gives any ideas to students when a students are not sure about an answer for a question. Also the teacher does not have the control of the classroom when students get noisy or get up from their desk. Some students are noisy and annoying and it’s very hard for a person to deal with so many students at the same time when they are noisy. I remember back in the days in high school some of the student were noisy and annoying or just throwing papers and it was hard for a teacher to take the control of the class. She just called the securities from the school to take them out the class.…
