The theme of the story wrote by Rodman Philbrick is intriguing. Is resembles the perfect friendship everyone wants. You are friends no matter your differences. that is freak and Maxwell's relationship. Freak is small has leg braces and crutches and max is tall and big and thinks down about himself.
They meet in max's backyard with freaks ornithopter. Then they go to school and freak tutors maxwell and teaches him all about the round table and the knights. Then freak helps max read King Arthur. They start to be friends.Then they try to do knight like things.
Knights are noble and kind that is what Kevin (freak) called himself and Maxwell. They did noble deeds all over the town. This old guy was abusing his girl and Maxwell says” GET YOUR FILTHY
