It goes without saying that the Perelman School of Medicine is one top medical schools in the world. I desire to work closely with those on the leading edge of medicine, where I can actively pursue clinical or translational research in conjunction with practicing medicine. Especially towards the beginning of my career, I believe allocating a portion of my time to research will be invaluable to developing my clinical abilities. With the pace of recent technological advances, it appears as though medicine is on the cusp of vast leaps forward, and at Perelman, opportunities to be involved with the research driving medicine forward are abundant. Additionally, I aspire to attend the Perelman School of Medicine because of the quality of students.
