written by my favorite author John Steinbeck, had enthralled me. The story is about
the main character Kino, an Indian pearl diver lives with his wife Juana, and his son
Coyotito. One day, his son gets stung by the scorpion and needs treatment; meanwhile

actually knows that the pearl will finally become evil, and destroy the whole family.
