I believe that the Patriot was a more than accurate portrayal of the American Revolution. In the movie the Patriot it had heart break, blood, murder, family, and so many more events just like the American Revolutionary war did. The movie told the story of a man who was an only father, and was forced to join the the army. His oldest son too was forced, so them as a duo set out on a mission to fight for what the believe in. A couple ways that the Patriot was an accurate representation of what life during the American Revolution was the social and political aspect.
