The Passover Feast

Improved Essays
In the Bible, John refers to Jesus as the “Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world” (John 1:29). In Revelation, John often refers to Jesus as the Lamb using a different Greek word. It is believed that John was referring to the Passover Lamb because its blood spared the Israelites from the death of their firstborn. The Passover feast is the main Jewish holiday that celebrates God releasing the Israelites from bondage. Sacrificing lambs in the temple was a part of the Jewish religion. This title teaches us that Jesus is the perfect and ultimate sacrifice for sin. The Passover lamb was slaughtered and eaten, where Christ rose from dead, conquering death and sin. Now, we are separated from God by our sin, and we can only hope for reconciliation

When I first saw Veronese’s Feast in the House of Levi, I thought someone painted to accommodate a special occasion or a banquet for a wealthy family. The subject been a representation of friendship, happiness and love from one another. It caught my attention how the people were gathered in all different locations and it wasn’t a focal point, just like in the other paintings we have seen. The style was rebellious and daring, that’s the reason why I find it fascinating and special. After the Feast in the House of Levi’s history was introduced to us, I learned that the Feast in the House of Levi subject is the Last Supper and it was also is original title.…

A three-fold depiction is presented here with the evidentiary value of the collected virginity cloth. One depiction is the bloodshed that is occurring on Earth during the tribulation, and a second depiction is the intimacy of each of us having our works opened at the Judgment Seat of Christ while we are in heaven during this time. I will discuss this heavenly honeymoon intimacy in a moment. The third depiction of a consummation taking place here are the final preparations in heaven to go get Jerusalem at the Battle of Armageddon after the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. The Passover supper Personal thoughts: On Thursday morning, the first day of the Feast, Jesus sent Peter and John to prepare a place where he could hold the Passover supper with his disciples in the evening. He knew it was the last time that he would break the bread of the Passover with them before he suffered, and it was also the first Holy Supper of the Christian Church. During the supper, he taught them a lesson of humility and talked with them tenderly and served them. At the end of the dinner, they sung a psalm together and he asked them to always believe him and no matter what happened never change their faith in God. He told them to live from him, like a branch lives from the vine, for he was the true spiritual vine, and without him they could do nothing.…

It seems that The Feast of Trumpets is a prophetic picture of the Rapture of the Church. But can we know when this momentous event takes place? Yeshua made it clear that no one knows the day and hour of His return. However, we can know when the time is near. Scripture passages such as the Parable of the Ten Virgins (Matt 25:1-13), and the Letter to the Church in Sardis (Revelation 3:1-3) let us know that those caught unaware at His return are the foolish and the spiritually.…
