The Parc Monceau is a representational and figurative painting because it depicts scenery we see in real life as well as people just slightly out of focus in the work. Therefore, his use of the technique impasto gives his painting a blurring affect allowing for all the texture he wants to be shown, while also leaving the painting slightly out of focus. Through the thick and stippled movement of his painting you can the repetition of certain colors and the rhythm it creates throughout the painting as a whole. Because of this, I have to say there is not much line work to be seen or done in this particular piece. The only item in the painting that depicts even the slightest about of line work is what appears to be a building in the background of the park and the people, but even then, it is very blurred. Although the painting hardly differ in techniques and the color schemes he portrays his artwork very well and each is unique.
