On the other hand I think I could have cut the unit shorter and introduce another dance or rhythmic activity, instead of focusing on step aerobics for the entire 4 weeks. This would have brought more dynamic in the unit, i further conducted a small group routine in which the student had to create their own routine, an activity that seemed to engage more students and extended my expectations as well. Overall, I thought that based upon the unit and the success the post-assessment showed, I performed well and I was positively surprised to see such a great outcome in the group performance. It was a joy to watch and in the end the entire unit showed me how maximum practice time as well as proper instructions can affect learning. Focusing on the turn-step alone further helped me as a teacher to grow and see that students learn at a different pace and with different cues. The inclusion of all three learning styles was something I didn’t consider at the beginning or was not even aware of during my unit, but based upon this analysis it is definitely something I will try to incorporate in all my future lessons as a

As a Biochemistry and Molecular Biology major, English courses have always been viewed as inferior and subpar to STEM courses. Throughout the course, much of what was studied and the concepts that were introduced surprisingly fell in line with those of a scientist. Although science does involve quantitative analysis and calculations, it must all be translated into a dissertation explaining qualitative details. As the Winter quarter comes to a close, I have taken the time to reflect upon the English language and the uses it has in my future endeavors. The purpose of this essay is to review key UWP 1 concepts, learning outcomes, and their effects on my English education and personal growth.…

Everyone hates English class is what I thought before taking English 102. However, that may have been the case before I entered Dr. Byrd’s domain, but after finishing the class I have come to the realization that English class can be greatly resourceful. English 102 this year has had its ups and downs, and I must admit the ups outweigh the downs. Meaning, this year, I have learned that I am not a student who wants to read or write, but through reading and writing my mind and skill sets concerning English have grown. During English 102 this year, reading and writing in class helped me expand my writing skills, improved my will to comprehend, and most importantly helped expand my knowledge.…

The students are assessing each other for the critical elements which relates to movement patterns because they are looking for ways to correct their peers movements. Once they are able to understand what the correct movement pattern should look like for bench pressing and deadlifting, it can help them in their own movement. Once the students are able to display 3 out of the 4 critical elements for the two skills I know that they have developed the competence in the psychomotor objective. The affective objective for lesson two is the students will discuss with their partners the critical elements they are not displaying.…
