Today we say farewell to a friend, a son, and a hero. Johnny Curtis who was born in March 1, 1949, he was a greaser in The Outsiders. Johnny is all three of these things, too bad he had to leave us. Although his parents didn’t give a damn about him, he was still their son. Johnny spent most of his time with Ponyboy, Darry, and Soda he was like a brother to them. Johnny killed Bob in self defense to protect Ponyboy from being drowned. Johnny and Ponyboy ran away to an abandoned church that Dallas told them about. The abandoned church was set on fire the second day they there, and there were kids inside. Johnny rushed in and saved the poor scared endangered children, as he did this a supporting log fell on his back and produced severe back damage.
