The Outsiders Plot Summary

Ponyboy, a 14 year-old boy, doesn't live the life of his dreams, but he gets himself into thinking that his world is perfect. He has two older brothers, Sodapop and Darry, and his parents died in a car accident a couple years ago. Since then he has been raised by his older brothers, and because of them, he is part of a gang called the greasers. As Ponyboy walks out of a theater one day, he is jumped by another gang, the rich Socs that live on the west side of town. Luckily, his two older brothers, Darry and Soda find him in time, therefore Ponyboy doesn't get beat up as badly as his friend Johnny once did. The next day, Ponyboy, Johnny and Dally go to a drive-in movie theater were they meet two girl Socs, Cherry and Marcia. They talk like normal people, not enemies, and …show more content…
When the events finally sink into Ponyboys and Johnny's minds, they realize that the police will be here soon and they need to run away. They go find Dally at a party and tell him everything that happened. He gives them a loaded gun and some money, and tells them to ride a train to Windrixville, buy a week's supply of food and hide in an abandoned church on top of a hill.While their stay at the church they keep themselves occupied by reading the book "Gone With The Wind" and eventually end up kissing. Things get even more heated up and they have sex. Ponyboy and and Johnny take turn sucking each others dicks Ponyboy recites a poem by Robert Frost. After being in the church for about a week, Dally, comes to visit them, and takes them for a ride through town. He tells them that the Socs and the greasers are fighting non-stop and both gangs are getting more and more dangerous and vicious.The Socs and us are having all-out warfare all over the city.
