To start, the first comparable scene is when the Scos arrive at the rumble. A similarity between the book and the movie was that I felt scared that something bad was going to happen when the Socs were arriving. I felt this way because the Socs were kind of devious which made it seem a little scary. A difference between the book and the movie was that when the Socs were arriving in the book the Scos were very quiet but in the movie the Socs were very roudy. Dally pulled Ponyboy by the shirt, and brings him to the car. Then Dally and Ponyboy drive of to the hospital to go see Johnny. A similarity between the book and movie is that I felt like Pony was going to die. I felt this way because Ponyboy was getting kicked and was all scratched up before Dally and Ponyboy went to the hospital. A difference between the book and the movie is that in the book “Dally half pulled Ponyboy down the street”, but in the movie Dally just picked up Ponyboy. Another difference between the book and the movie is that in the book it wasn’t raining, but in the movie it was pouring rain. The movie was more effective during this scene because I could see what condition Ponyboy was
